Our art exhibit for this session has moved to the library. You can enjoy four of Becky's quilts in the Rager Reading Room near Patron Services, and the fifth is in the Fiction Library (original 1925 library). The exhibit is free and open during normal library operating hours.

Mabel Wagnalls and Her Famous Friends
Details
Not only was Mabel Wagnalls the author of eight books and a concert pianist – she was also a New York socialite. Come hear Wagnalls historian, Carol Gaal, tell the stories about Mabel’s friendships with Harry Houdini, author O. Henry, world traveler Joshua Slocum and others. You’ll also hear the story about how Mabel came to own a lock of hair from famous Hungarian composer and pianist, Franz Liszt. And of course, you can view the memorabilia associated with these friendships!
Presentation will be in the Rager Reading Room in the Library.
